Why I like Multi Level Marketing

There are different business models one can follow when seeking to start your own business. I’m not talking about partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, LLC, etc. I’m talking about things like franchises, multi level marketing, traditional business structure, etc.

I am convinced that for someone wanting to start a business without hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars at their disposal there is nothing that comes close to Multi Level or Network marketing. As a business model nothing has so much potential with so little start-up costs. Nothing else has so much of the business process taken care of by someone else with out any expenditures on their part.

Most Network marketing companies take care of many things that small businesses normally have to take care of themselves. Here are some of the things that the companies take care of for their distributors.

  • In the past some Network Marketing companies required their distributors to warehouse their products. With the modern methods of communications and shipping possibilities this is no longer so for most companies.
  • Since most Network Marketers don’t have to warehouse product they also don’t have to worry about product delivery. This means that they can sell product to a much larger market. They are not limited to the area where they live.
  • Billing and accounts receivable is also take care of by the company. While the distributor will loose his commission on product that becomes bad debt, the collection of the debt is the responsibility of the company.
  • Many of the legal issues of the business are handled by the company. Each distributor is, of course, responsible for his actions, but legal issues concerning the product and many other legal issues are the responsibility of the company.

These things are major expenses to small businesses. It is a real advantage to have these issues dealt with by someone else.

Another great advantage of Network Marketing is the cost of starting your business. Franchises can cost hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars just to buy the franchise. In addition to this there are all of the other start-up costs like equipment and buildings.

Traditional businesses will cost thousands of dollars at a minimum to get started. There are expenses like equipment, product, business licenses, etc.

You can get started in Network Marketing for less than $500.00 in most companies, and many companies it will cost you a whole lot less than this. At present you can get started in the Network Marketing company I am with for around $100.00 and get it back in commissions on no more than four sales of under $30.00. It is possible to get it all back in as little as one sale of under $30.00. Quite a contrast with traditional business and franchises, isn’t it.

The time required to recuperate your initial investment us much less in Network Marketing. In Network Marking your initial investment can be recuperated in days, weeks or at most months if you are build your business right. In other types of business it usually takes years.

Another problem is that many are still teaching antiquated methods of building a Network Marketing business. They still teach a system that requires going after friends and families that are probably not the least bit interested in their own business.

These problems can be overcome with proper teaching. If we present Network Marketing as a real business that must be run as a business and not as a hobby we will recruit serious people who will have a good chance of success. If we teach what is called Attraction Marketing or Magnetic Sponsoring we can show our recruits a plan which will give them a very good probability of success.

Over all, I believe there is no better opportunity for someone wanting to start a business than Network Marketing. The advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. This business model is well worth your consideration.

Magnetic Sponsoring is a common term in the world of online network marketing. It is a network marketing system that was developed by Mike Dillard. The Cost Of Training

If you have been searching the internet for training on building your business online you have undoubtedly been bewildered with the options and the prices. In this article I would like to take a look into this and see what the best options are.

First of all, I have no intention of running down any of the multitudes of trainers (coaches) found on line. Nor do I have any intention of saying that the prices are unreasonable for the training given. If you have the money to purchase a $5,000.00 or more coaching program and do your due diligence to make sure the training will accomplish what is promised by all means do so. It will certainly reduce your learning time.

On the other hand, if you are like most of us and your budget is tight I would think twice about spending more money than is necessary. The purpose for this blog is to get the information out to those who are willing to work so they don’t have to pay these high prices.

I do suggest that you pay for some training because the other option is to spend a lot of time learning in for yourself. This will take a lot of time and may well discourage you and cause you to stop before you get the success you should expect from an online business.

I have spent the last four months researching this issue. There is one name that keeps coming up over and over. That is Mike Dillard. Almost all of the coaching programs I have looked at use his material. I highly recommend two of his works if you are on a budget. The first, and most important, is Magnetic Sponsoring ($39.95). This will give you the basics that you need. In addition, it gives you access to his training site. The second is Building On A Budget ($29.95). This will give you a lot of information for building your online business on a shoestring budget.

The publicity for some of these says that we are foolish to purchase e-books to learn these because we will end up spending a lot of money to do so. The then have the audacity to charge thousands for their product. While it is true that the personal coaching may be worth the money, anyone of normal intelligence can take Mike’s books and figure it out just like those who are coaching. It will take a little longer and a little tweaking to master the process, but it will cost a whole lot less.

There is one other package that I would recommend if you can afford it. It has a monthly fee, but it should soon pay for itself. That is My Lead System Pro. This will give you all the tools you need to build your business and sites to drive traffic to while building your list. You will also have all of the follow-up emails to get you started.

Is Network Marketing A Good Business Model?

Network marketing or MLM is one of the most powerful business models available without a major investment. If you look at franchises you will see that, not only to you have to have a very large financial investment, you also have to have a major time investment. Network marketing can be started on a small budget and part time.

In his book Rich Dad Poor Dad, Robert Kiyosaki writes:

“When I speak to adults who want to earn more money, I always recommend the same thing. I suggest taking a long view of their life. Instead of simply working for the money and security, which I admit are important, I suggest they take a second job that will teach them a second skill.

Often I recommend joining a network marketing company, also called multilevel marketing, if they want to learn sales skills. Some of these companies have excellent training programs that help people get over their fear of failure and rejection, which are the main reasons people are unsuccessful.”

If you have tried offline network marketing and therefore shy away from network marketing take a good look before you reject it.

Online network marketing is quite different from the traditional offline network marketing. You will not have to harass your family or friends, make cold calls, run newspaper ads, etc. With all the lead generation methods available online today you can build your business on auto-pilot. You may not have to call prospects at all, and if you do you will only call those who have already expressed interest in what you have to offer.

Join an upline with a good training system: While the company is important, a good upline is more important than the company. A good upline offers you excellent support and training. It will not only teach you how to build your business, it will also teach you how to train your downline.

Even if you use paid advertising you should use free advertising methods such as article marketing, forum marketing, social networking etc.

It will take real work: Network marketing is not a get-rich-quick scheme. It is possible to make money quickly in this business but it is a business and requires work. You must invest in training to learn the principles and skills needed. The major reason most people fail is that they don’t treat Network Marketing as a business.

Network Marketing has some real advantages: The first is that your income grows exponentially and has the potential to literally explode. Secondly most of the problems like customer support, shipping, warehousing, billing, etc. are taken care of by the “company.” Thirdly it builds residual income. This means you do something once and get paid over and over again.

Network Marketing also has disadvantages: You must be prepared to wait for you income. Most companies compensation plans are not designed to pay much in the beginning. They pay those who build an organization of distributors or associates. It takes time to build this. There is only one company I know of that makes it easy to make a livable income from the beginning. The low beginning income is the reason most people quit before they make a livable income.

Conclusion:

If you are looking for a home based business that will allow you to start small and grow it into a good livable income and if you are willing to put in the effort to succeed then Multi-Level Marketing is a good choice. Find a good company, start learning how to build your organization online, and get started.
